 The Street Performance hydraulic lifters are made from a cold formed body with a clipped axle and have 6,500 RPM capability. These lifters have .120” plunger travel and have an 80% fill rate with the test oil. The lifter wheels in this series are .700” diameter. 


Recommended Spring Pressure: 100-180 lbs Seat Pressure, 280-380 lbs Open Pressure.


 

The Performance hydraulic lifters are made from a billet body with a clipped axle and have 7,000 RPM capability. These lifters have .120” plunger travel and have an 80% fill rate with the test oil.  The lifter wheels in this series are .750” diameter.  


Recommended Spring Pressure: 100-200 lbs Seat Pressure, 280-400 lbs Open Pressure


 

The Hi-RPM hydraulic lifters are made from a billet body and have a clipped axle. These lifters have 7,000+ RPM capability with .120” plunger travel and have an 80% fill rate with the test oil. These lifters have a .750” diameter roller wheel for the .842” & .875” diameter lifters and a .810” diameter roller wheel for the .903” diameter lifters. The Internal tolerances are much tighter in this series. 

Do Not Use Oil Heavier Than 5W40! 

Recommended Spring Pressure : 100-225 lbs Seat Pressure, 350-550 lbs Open Pressure


 

The HLT, also known as Limited Travel lifters, have a clipped axle and are intended for use in Stock Racing Classes where some plunger travel is required. These lifters have between .015”-.030” plunger travel before going solid. Due to the short plunger travel on these lifters, there is some Valve Train Noise that can be associated with them.


Recommended Spring Pressure: 100-250 lbs Seat Pressure, 285-650 lbs Open Pressure


 




 The Street Performance Mechanical lifters are made from a cold formed body with a clipped axle and have 7,000 RPM capability. The lifter wheels in this series are .700” diameter. 


Recommended Spring Pressure: 150-220 lbs Seat Pressure, 300-550 lbs Open Pressure


 

The Standard Mechanical lifters are made from a billet body with a clipped axle and have 7,500 RPM capability. The lifter wheels in this series are .750” diameter. 


Recommended Spring Pressure: 150-275 lbs Seat Pressure, 400-700 lbs Open Pressure


 

The Sportsman Pro is a new design of our very successful 4604 SBC and 4606 BBC lifters.  They are lighter weight and are REM finished. They also feature Full-time EDM oiling to the bearings and allows pushrod oiling on Small Base Circle Camshafts.


Recommended Spring Pressure: 150-275 lbs Seat Pressure, 400-700 lbs Open Pressure


 

The Ultra Pro Mechanical lifters are made from a billet body with a clipped axle and have 8,000 + RPM capability. The .842” & .875” diameter lifters in this series have a .750” diameter roller wheel. The .903” diameter lifters have a .810” diameter roller wheel and the .936” diameter lifters have a .850” diameter wheel.


Recommended Spring Pressure: 250-350 lbs Seat Pressure, 600-850 lbs Open Pressure


 The Bushing UFRS Mechanical lifters are made from a billet body with a clipped axle and have 8,000 + RPM capability. The .842” & .875” diameter lifters in this series have a .750” diameter roller wheel. The .903” diameter lifters have a .810” diameter roller wheel and the .936” diameter lifters have a .850” diameter wheel.

 These lifters have a special break-in lube between the axle and roller wheel and should not be washed with solvent prior to installation. These lifters also require a break-in period of 25-30 minutes varying the RPM from 1,800-2,200 RPM.


Recommended Spring Pressure: 250-350 lbs Seat Pressure, 600-850 lbs Open Pressure


 The Black Mamba Lite Mechanical lifters are made from a billet body with a pined axle and have 9,000 + RPM capability. The Black Mamba’s have an axle diameter of .470” with full time pressurized oiling. The .842” & .875” diameter lifters in this series have a .750” diameter roller wheel. The .903” diameter lifters have a .810” diameter roller wheel and the .936” diameter lifters have a .850” diameter wheel. 

 These lifters have a special break-in lube between the axle and roller wheel and should not be washed with solvent prior to installation. These lifters also require a break-in period of 25-30 minutes varying the RPM from 1,800-2,200 RPM.


Recommended Spring Pressure: 150-400 lbs Seat Pressure, 500-1,000 lbs Open Pressure


 The Black Mamba Mechanical lifters are made from a billet body with a pined axle and have 9,000 + RPM capability. The Black Mamba’s have an axle diameter of .470” with full time pressurized oiling. They have Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) for less friction and wear durability. The .842” & .875” diameter lifters in this series have a .750” diameter roller wheel. The .903” diameter lifters have a .810” diameter roller wheel and the .936” diameter lifters have a .850” diameter wheel. 

 These lifters have a special break-in lube between the axle and roller wheel and should not be washed with solvent prior to installation. These lifters also require a break-in period of 25-30 minutes varying the RPM from 1,800-2,200 RPM.

With a standard all aluminum case design for lower reciprocating weight, stress-proof steel hub and 1040 steel internal inertia rings for outstanding durability, Innovators West Balancers are a great investment for your street or race vehicle.

Inside the light weight billet aluminum cover is a free floating wet friction clutch pack assembly that utilizes spring loaded inertia rings to dampen crankshaft harmonics over a wide RPM range. The rings work in conjunction with clutches to provide outstanding dampening action. That action does generate some heat, and we use a small amount of fluid inside that acts as a lubricant and dissipates heat to the outer body.

Lighter, Stronger and More Options than the Others!

 

All new design Camshaft Belt Drive Systems from Innovators West feature an aluminum machined cover with billet machined finish, anodized precision machined pulleys and top quality Super Torque belt. All models include an adjustable idler pulley eccentric for maintaining proper belt tension. Camshaft timing is externally adjustable via the 2 piece top pulley with a 10 degree range and cam thrust is controlled with Torrington Needle Bearings.
